Apologies

I apologize deeply for my long absence. Ever since we found out we were expecting another baby, life has been slightly nuts. I can really feel the strain on my body with this pregnancy and my energy level is far from ideal for dealing with daily life, let alone photography. Not that I haven't felt the desire to shutterbug; I just can't seem to find the time or motivation. Please forgive me. I've been adding some photos to my Flickr account, but it's hit and miss. Perhaps someday I'll get my mojo back. I do have a family shoot booked for tomorrow, so hopefully everything works out and I get some of those posted. Thank you for your patience!

Drops on Web

We awoke to snow this morning! It's been a perfect day for staying in with a warm drink and a good book, but I chose to stand outside and take supermacro shots of waterdrops on a spider web, while wet snow blobs bombarded my head. Anything for a good shot, right? I wasn't disappointed, though. Look at the wonder of God's creation - from the drops forming like tiny glass beads on a necklace to the complexity of the web itself. Marvelous.

Lake Cleveland

My apologies for not posting for awhile. I haven't even been taking pictures in awhile! Just too busy or too tired to do anything.

Today, we broke that trend by taking a drive up to Lake Cleveland, a mountain lake near the Pomerelle Ski Area in the Sawtooth National Forest. I didn't take many photos. The scenery and Robby's playing were too distracting. Here are a few:

At the Fair

Matt, Robby, and I went to the fair again, yesterday, and this time I got brave and got my camera out. It's always a little intimidating walking around with a camera around your neck and stopping for shots when people are staring at you, but I quickly got over it. Here are a few of my favorites from yesterday. Also, for a ribbon update, we ended up with four blue ribbons, one red ribbon, and one green ribbon between us! A whopping $14 in winnings! :)
